Founded in Radnor, Pennsylvania in 1883, the Radnor Hunt is the oldest continuously active fox hunt in the United States.

I got first pick, and chose a horse I had growing up. I almost felt sacrilegious to paint one of them, but I do love the Trail of Painted Ponies project, and love how this will benefit, so this Breyer horse will take on a new meaning and purpose - to benefit Willistown Conservation Trust and the Radnor Hunt Club.

My goal to see the Breyer Horse as a piece of English Folk Art, to design similar as the Swedish icon Dala Horse.

My father has 100% English heritage, my grandmother's family Mayflower, my grandfather's grandfather from Ripon, and the Yorkshire area.

I knew I wanted to include the Radnor Hunt Club historic fox logo.

There were features, everything has purpose and meaning, down to required odd number of  button or rosette braids or dressage braids with standard 17 buttons.

I researched and was inspired by English Arts & Craft for inspiration about colors and designs, as well as tweed and plaid, and floral.
